Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the use of https://boxgrove.com.au/ and https://www.rest.boxgrove.com.au/. This website is owned and operated by BoxGrove. By using this website, you indicate you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.
When booking your wedding and event with BoxGrove, you agree into our Terms and Conditions upon payment of your deposit. We are situated just outside a residential suburb of Bathurst, and must make every effort to minimise our environmental impact on its residents.
Weddings & Events
Deposit & Confirmation
Bookings will be considered as 'confirmed' upon receipt of a 35% deposit. The outstanding balance is to be paid no later than 14 days before your wedding date.
Guest numbers must be confirmed no later than 7 days prior to event
Cancellation Policy
Should you cancel your booking, you will forfeit the 35% deposit paid
If cancellation occurs within 8w of the date, you will be required to pay 50% of contract amount
If cancellation occurs within 14d of the date, you will be required to pay 100% of the contract amount
If you choose to postpone within 10+ months, your deposit will transfer to a new date with no fee required
If you choose to postpone within 6-10 months, a $500 fee will apply
If you choose to postpone within 2-6 months, a $1500 fee will apply
If you need to postpone due to COVID19, BoxGrove will waive postponement fee
Children
Children must be supervised at all times, especially on the decked areas on the reception building.
Cleaning & Damages
A cleaning fee will be charged at the discretion of management should the premises be left in an unacceptable state. Unacceptable state is defined by management and would include excessive breakages, smoking inside, damage to gyprock and furniture or other property of BoxGrove.
The liability for any loss/damage/theft including but not limited to appliances, furniture, fittings, fixtures and any unsettled charged is of the person signing the event contract.
Items must be replaced or returned within 48h post event or charged will be debited from the provided credit card within 7 days.
BoxGrove accepts no responsibility or liability to compensate for any loss, theft or damage of personal property on or brought into BoxGrove or its immediately vicinity (including carparks).
BoxGrove accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of goods, equipment or merchandise left on the premises prior to, during or after the function.
Alcohol & Decorum
BoxGrove is a fully licensed venue and alcohol must be served by RSA qualified staff provided by BoxGrove
All beverages are subject to seasonal changes
No alcohol is to leave the premises in accordance with state law. Consumption of alcohol is prohibited outside the venue and in the onsite accommodation during the hours of the event.
BoxGrove staff reserve the right to remove any person from the venue who is intoxicated, violent, quarrelsome or disorderly
Excessive alcohol consumption is not condoned by the venue or its staff. Bar staff will responsibly serve alcohol in accordance with their formal RSA training.
BoxGrove does not condone driving under the influence. It is the responsibility of each individual who exits the property operating the vehicle to ensure they have not consumed excessive amounts of alcohol. Bus serves to the CBD are provided for each event leaving no later than 12:00am (60p capacity).
Sound
All guests and patrons must abide by our sound management plan (available on request). BoxGrove will monitor sound throughout the event and take action to reduce excessive noise pollution where necessary.
Housekeeping
Security may be arranged at our cost for events involving more than 180 guests. BoxGrove will only authorise accredited and reputable security firms to operate on site.
Smoking at BoxGrove is only allowed in designated smoking areas of which there are two onsite.
The Deck allows for 120 guests (190 overflow)
The Rose Garden allows for 150 guests (190 overflow)
The Barn allows for 192 guests seated and 350 guests cocktail
Intellectual property
All content is published and made available on our website is the property of BoxGrove and the website’s creators. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our website.
Third party goods and services
Our website may offer goods and services from third parties. We cannot guarantee the quality or accuracy of goods and services made available by third parties on our website.
Links to other websites
Our website contains links to third party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the contect, policies or practices of any third party website or service linked to on our website. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of these third party websites before using these sites.
Limitation of liability
BoxGrove and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the website.
Indemnity
Excpet where prohibited by law, by using this website you indemnify and hold harmless BoxGrove and our directors, officers, agents, employers, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal feed arising out of your use of our website or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Applicable law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales.
Severability
If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
Changes
These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our website and the way we expect users to behave on our website. We will notify users by email of changes to these Terms and Conditions or post a notice on our website.
